On Monday, the Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association announced the position of general manager has been appointed to Jackie Tomayer, effective immediately. Tomayer began her career with the Ex in January as the marketing manager and quickly adapted to the ever-changing landscape and dynamic nature of the Ex. Over the past four years, Tomayer has witnessed many changes, including the retirement of long-term gen- eral manager Mike Sidoryk, and the many challenges presented throughout the COVID19 pandemic. We want to share those special moments with our community, and we look forward to seeing you all again. I am thrilled to be offered this position and am eager to grow and evolve while working with our incredible Staff and Board on our united goals. The staff and board of directors feel poised and ready to move forward under the new leadership and are excited to welcome back valued guests, patrons, and volunteers in the coming months.
